AC Ciulla

Emmy Award winning choreographer AC Ciulla has enjoyed an eclectic career spanning a wide range of work in different creative arenas. AC was honored with a Tony nomination for his choreography in the Broadway musical Footloose. He co-created and choreographed the hit Vegas show Toni Braxton - Revealed and Braxton's Libra tour. AC won an Emmy Award for 'Outstanding Choreography of A Television Special' for his innovative work for Stars on Ice and choreographed the film Gray Matters starring Heather Graham and Bridget Moynahan. Other stars that have performed AC's choreography include Chaka Khan, Billy Porter, Kristi Yamaguchi, Freedom Williams of C&C Music Factory, Jim Belushi, Peabo Bryson, Nicole Scherzinger of the Pussycat Dolls and Tony Award winners LaChance, Anika Noni Rose and Sara Ramirez. He directed a 1-800-OK-CABLE dance commercial and has choreographed spots for Dr.Pepper, Intel and E*Trade. AC made his Broadway debut in Starlight Express at age 19, performed on the MTV Video Music Awards, danced along side Michael Jackson and performed as a principal dancer with the world renowned Jazz dance company WAVES. Sometimes funky, sometimes lyrical, sometimes theater dance but always on the edge. AC's innovative warm-up and choreography will extend your range technically and artistically. He also shares his experience as a choreographer and director by letting his students know what is expected in an audition and focuses on helping dancers to become more diverse.
