Karine Plantadit (Actor/Dancer/Performance Coach) performed on Broadway in Movin' Out (Brenda), The Lion King (The Chetah) and Saturday Night Fever (Shirley Charles). She recently worked with John Selya in a one-woman dance-drama La Voix, based on the Jean Cocteau's play La Voix Humaine, and performed on the 2009 Oscars broadcast with Hugh Jackman and Beyonce. Her film and TV credits include Across the Universe, Frida, Stay, Chicago, "Sex in the City" as well as numerous commercials such as EBay, American Express, Visa, Subway, Lens Crafters and McDonald's. She has danced with Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Donald Byrd/The Group, Twyla Tharp and the Francesca Harper Project. As a performance coach, Ms. Plantadit has appeared on MTV's "Made", has worked with this year's Steps Repertory Ensemble, has conducted her workshop, "Nail Your Auditions" nationally, and does private coaching.
