A Lab for Creative Experiments
Open to ALL interested artists.

Dance, Music, Theatre, Performance Art, Multidisciplinary Works

The Lab Series provides an opportunity for emerging and established artists from all live performance disciplines to experiment and experience their work in front of an audience. The series provides space and minimal technical support for artists to present a specific and unique work of art in a supportive environment. Artists receive CONFIDENTIAL, written, feedback from the audience.

There is an 8 minute maximum for each piece submitted.

Upcoming Performance Lab Dates:

2009-2010 Dates

November 21 & 22, deadline for applications: November 7
February 20 & 21, deadline for applications: February 5
April 17 & 18, deadline for applications: April 2

THE PERFORMANCE LAB ON SATURDAY NOVEMBER 21ST IS FULL.
Applications are still being accepted for Sunday the 22nd, however The necessity of a Sunday night performance will be determined by the number of applicants.

Performances begin at 8:00pm in Steps Studio Theater

Tickets will go on sale for the performances two weeks prior to the performance date at the front desk or by calling the box office at 212-874-2410 ext.27
