The program offers a ballet and a theater dance focus that includes classes in ballet technique, pointe, pas de deux, variations, contemporary partnering, repertory, coaching, theater dance, jazz, hip hop and modern.
  • 5 - 6 daily classes, Monday - Friday
  • Studio performance
  • Enrichment classes in floor barre, pilates, voice & acting, pointe shoe consultations, performance-related lectures, career planning, dance history classes & nutrition workshops.
  • Videotape & analysis of classwork
  • Master classes with guest artists

Summer Intensive Auditions
 DVD/Video Applications:
Please fill out the Audition Application Form and send to the address below with the DVD/Video audition tape. DVD/Video must include footage of the student executing the following:

Barre: pliés (1st, 2nd, 5th positions), port de bras, tendus en croix from first and fifth positions, dégagé, rond de jambes à terre and en l'air, développés en avant, a la seconde, and derrière, and grand battement.

Center: petit allegro, grand allegro of your choice. You may also include a classical variation if you are applying for the ballet focus and a short jazz or musical theater combination if you are applying for the theater focus.

Please make sure that DVD or videos are clearly labeled with the Student's name and "Summer 2009 Audition." Videos must be received by June 15, 2009 to be considered.
