The Dance Excellence Scholarship provides outstanding dancers the opportunity to pursue their career goals in the Pre-Professional division of the Steps Academy. Each year, dancers ages 10-18 are awarded $25,000 in scholarship funds to support their training as members of this elite program.  Adjudicators look for dancers who demonstrate leadership within their community, showcase dedication and passion in classes and performances, and are fully committed to the Pre-Professional training schedule.

Applicants for the scholarship must be a US Citizen or permanent resident. Scholarships are limited and may vary by year. Finalists may be asked to attend callbacks in NYC during the week of June 3-9, 2024.
