Cathy Fogelman

Cathy Fogelman is a current company member of American Dance Machine for the 21st Century (ADM21). A native New Yorker, she received much of her early theater dance training as a teenager with Lee Theodore, founder of the original American Dance Machine and subsequently with Bob Tucker, whom she would substitute for at Broadway Dance Center and Steps On Broadway. She has taught courses at Hampshire College and Smith College as well as master classes and conservatory classes with performances at Steps On Broadway.

Some of her favorite performing credits include: ADM21 at The Joyce Theater NYC, West Side Story as Anybody's, Guggenheim Works and Process (On The Town, Jerome Robbins 30th Anniversary), Barnum, Sugar Babies, Sesame Street Live, Jesus Christ Superstar, Evita, and Dance Machine International in NYC and in Japan with Takarazuka Revue. She has also choreographed works including Jesus Christ Superstar and Evita, Off- Broadway.

Cathy has been fortunate to work with or assist many notable Broadway choreographers, performers and directors including: Donna McKechnie, Wayne Cilento, Robert LaFosse, Cady Huffman, Nick Garr and BobTucker.

Cathy is passionate about teaching and passing on the invaluable information that she received to the next generation of dancers, so is very excited to be currently teaching for ADM21 at Steps On Broadway.
