Katlyn Morahan

Katlyn Morahan began her dance training at the age of six in Buffalo, New York, and continued her studies at studios throughout Syracuse, New York and Reading, Pennsylvania, and at Syracuse University, choreographing multiple musical theater and opera productions, and teaching students of all ages in various disciplines including tap, jazz, ballet and theater dance along the way. She has been studying at Steps on Broadway for the past decade.

In addition to the School at Steps, Katlyn is on faculty at Manhattan Movement and Arts Center Kids Division. She is particularly passionate about giving young students their first dance class experiences and teaching tap to students of all ages. She is thrilled to join the faculty at School at Steps after holding a previous teaching assistant position.

Katlyn received her Bachelors degree in Journalism with a minor in Theater from Syracuse University and has her Masters in Performing Arts Administration from New York University. In addition to teaching dance, Katlyn is the founder of Morahan Arts and Media, a boutique marketing and public relations company for performing arts organizations and artists.
