Steps Youth Programs’ alumni graduate with a respect for the dance community, a connection with Steps Youth Programs, and a well rounded dance education. Sydney Golden (class of ’11) is a Production Assistant working with the Stage Management team for the revival of Fiddler on the Roof, returning to Broadway this fall.

Acacia Courtney (class of ‘10)- Miss Connecticut 2014, where she promotes health, fitness and positive body image through campaigns such as Move it Mondays & Meatless Mondays.

Jillian Stevens (class of ’09) has been accepted into the 200 hour RYT ANYA training program.


Lauren DeMaria (class of ‘09) – Medical school at SUNY Downstate in Brooklyn

Victoria Grempel (class of ‘12) – The Julliard School

Dorchel Haqq (class of ‘15) – SUNY Purchase College

Isabelle Plana (class of ‘12): Baldwin Wallace University. She will be playing Daniela in In The Heights this fall.

Anna Riley-Shepard (class of ‘13): Harvard University. Taking a year off to dance with Compagnia Zappalà Danza in Catania, Sicily and tour throughout Europe for 9 months beginning of October 2015.
