Jazz Child and Youth Dance Faculty Bio | Kelly Bolick | Steps on Broadway



Kelly Bolick
Kelly is a native of North Carolina where she began her dance training at North Carolina School of the Arts as a dance major. She then went on to attain her Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She also served as captain of the UNC Varsity Dance Team, a nationally competitive team. Since moving to NYC, she has continued her dance training at Steps on Broadway. She worked as associate choreographer on the workshop of Volleygirls The Musical and assisted in choreographing a performance number for New York Fashion Week. She is a proud member of the ALMA NYC Dance Company. She has performed in the Steps Faculty Performance with Richard Pierlon, Choreoapher's Canvas, and many other productions across the city. She is currently working as associate choreographer for the upcoming production of The Boy From Oz being performed in Peru.

As an instructor she has taught a variety of styles at Steps Youth Programs, Broadway Theatre Project, the NCSA Preparatory Dance Program, and many other programs across the country. She is also on faculty with The Performing Arts Project and is proud to have been a part of its inaugural year.
