STEPS on Broadway ACADEMY

training the dancers of tomorrow

The Steps on Broadway Academy is a premiere dance training program located on New York City’s Upper West Side. Students ages 2-18 receive a comprehensive dance training experience led by our world-renowned faculty. Housed within the The Steps on Broadway Academy are three divisions, Pre-Professional, Youth Division, & First Steps. Our diverse curriculum includes classes in ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, hip hop, theater dance, modern, and contemporary and offers multiple performance opportunities. Our notable faculty members boast performance credits including American Ballet Theater, the Radio City Rockettes, Dance Theater of Harlem, Alvin Ailey, New York City Ballet, Paul Taylor, Broadway, film, and commercial credits.

I think the Steps [Academy] PrePro program is excellent.
The teachers and syllabus are dynamic and engaging and the dancers become fluent in many different styles of dance. The quality of the instruction was evident this weekend at the Starlight Performance. The dancers were amazing ! …it is well run and nurturing and very concerned about each dancer’s development and enjoyment of dance.

Absolutely incredible experience!
My 12 year old daughter had possibly the best time of her life dancing at Steps – we travelled in from Massachusetts and we cannot wait to come back again for more, more more! The faculty was phenomenal, and the choreography was outstanding!! She took the intermediate level theater Jazz and the intermediate tap, and she fit right in, learned so much, and loved every minute. Thank you, Steps!
